Was at Home
Frederick Havens and EUgene was here awhile
it was some Rainy but little water fell
 
Monday 2
Fredrick Havens and Wife was Here on their was Home
I traided Old White with him for a Bay Mare
got the Heves [vomiting? hives?]
I planted Vines in garding and pole Beens Sweet corn

Stafford Helped Commensed Plowing the pease South West with his Horse for Buckwheat
Broak with three Horses
Broak hard did not Plow much
Mrs Montgomery & Mrs Yawer was here
Daniel and wife came here

We went with Daniel and wife to Staffords visiting spent most of the day
went and see my Sheep My Buck lam Sired [unable to make out]

Stafford helped Plow again
we plowed with Oxen and Horses till we got sick of the performance of the
Mare I had of Fred Havens then plowed with Fanny and Oxen
 
Tuesday 10
Finished Plowing the pese for Buckwheat with Fanny and Oxen
George Helped
Harvey Pike come and got one Half Ton Hay for Douglass
Hay worth Eight Dollars per Ton
Eugenes Bull found sick at night
Hard Day

Eugenes Bull found dead in the morning I skined Him and Edmond sheered sheep
Had Twenty [unable to make out] fleece
had twenty one lambs
Heavy ist [1st?] flease 4 lb 10 oz

I went to whare Harvey was plowing with Douglasses New Team
they went well
went and talked with Douglass about line fense agreed to divide it when Handy

Cultivated the Second time over and Hoed Potatoes
George Helped about one Hour Just at night
 
Saturday 14
Went to Harpersville with Parker to See the Doctor
I Bot Hoe and Two milk Pails wooden with two hooks Best kind
Paid Three Shilings apease

Edmond sowed Two Hunderd Plaster Altered white calves
Sold them to Eugene for Eight Dollars
He is to take them the middle of August
they are to go to Pay towards work all ready done

Some of the children went to meeting Mr Puller Preached at the Cook School House

Sowed and draged in some Buckwheat North about two bushels
Edmond sowed I draged broke off with Rain just at night
left about half draged the last way
let Eugene have one bushel Buckwheat

caried Nine Hides Eight Drum [??] one too year [stain] Bulls Hide
left all out two Deom [??]
Have them taned
Carried wool to Philipses 41 cts per lb
Settled and Paid them all up
